朝、遠くの西の空に星をみる
夜、深い空に川がながれる
星の影をすくうように
微かに見えているものを手にとる
白のさきにある色彩に小さく耳を澄ませて
遠くの星の古い光に願いをこめる
すぐそこにある生と死に花をささげる
布に包まれたものは存在と不在のあわいを行き来するように
小さく振動している

In the morning, I see a star in the distant western sky.
At night, a river flows through the deep sky.
As if scooping up the shadows of the stars,
I take in my hands what faintly appears.
I listen quietly to the colors beyond white,
and send a wish to the ancient light of a distant star.
To the life and death so near at hand,
I offer flowers.
What is wrapped in cloth
seems to traverse the boundary between presence and absence,
trembling softly.
